Einer der Keynote-Vortr\u00e4ge wurde von <a href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Henryk-Barthel\">Prof. Henryk Barthel<\/a> vom <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uniklinikum-leipzig.de\/einrichtungen\/nuklearmedizin\">Universit\u00e4tsklinikum Leipzig<\/a> mit dem Titel: \u201e<strong>Is there a future for the new brain dedicated PET systems?<\/strong>\u201c gehalten. Er erkl\u00e4rte, dass der Bedarf an dedizierten Gehirn-PET Ger\u00e4ten deutlich zunehmen wird, sobald krankheitsmodifizierende Therapien oder krankheitsvorbeugende Medikamente f\u00fcr die Alzheimer-Krankheit (AK) verf\u00fcgbar werden. Er skizzierte zwei &#8222;Business Case&#8220;-Szenarien unter Ber\u00fccksichtigung von AK und der Parkinson-Krankheit und schlussfolgerte, dass mehrere Tausend dedizierte Gehirn-PET Systeme &#8211; die im Vergleich zu herk\u00f6mmlichen Ganzk\u00f6rper-PET Ger\u00e4ten kleiner und kosteng\u00fcnstiger sind &#8211; ben\u00f6tigt werden, um Patienten in Europa zu scannen.
