Positrigo Reaches Final of the Swiss Medtech Award 2026
Positrigo, a Swiss based company developing nuclear medical devices to advance functional brain imaging has been selected as a finalist for the Swiss Medtech Award 2026. Positrigo is one of three finalists chosen by the independent jury, recognising its innovative contributions to neurological imaging and its commitment to improving access to advanced diagnostic technologies.
The Swiss Medtech Award honours companies that advance medical technology through pioneering innovation and measurable benefits for patients and healthcare systems. The winner will be announced on 10 June 2026 during Swiss Medtech Day in Bern.
Positrigo develops compact and user-friendly brain Positron Emission Tomography (PET) imaging systems designed specifically for neurological applications. By enabling high-quality imaging in neurological practices and smaller treatment centres, the company aims to make advanced diagnostics more accessible and support the growing demand for the assessment of neurodegenerative diseases.
“We are honoured to be selected as a finalist for the Swiss Medtech Award,” said Dr. Jannis Fischer, Co-Founder and CEO of Positrigo. “This recognition highlights our mission to make brain imaging more accessible and to support clinicians in the early detection and monitoring of neurological diseases.”
Working closely with clinical partners, Positrigo continuously advances its technological and organisational capabilities. Its dedicated focus on neurological imaging allows the company to develop solutions that are tailored to the needs of physicians and patients while contributing to more efficient and decentralised healthcare delivery.
The Swiss Medtech Award, launched in 2018, recognises outstanding achievements within the Swiss medical technology industry. The prize money of CHF 50,000 is sponsored by leading Swiss healthcare companies and awarded by an independent expert jury.
Alongside Positrigo, the finalists for the 2026 award include Medartis and Symbios Orthopédie. The award ceremony will take place at Swiss Medtech Day, the leading annual event for the Swiss medtech industry.
