Beverly Hills Medical Imaging to acquire dual NeuroLF systems

October 14, 2025
Positrigo, a Swiss-based company developing nuclear medical devices to advance functional brain imaging, today announced that Beverly Hills Medical Imaging (BHMI) has purchased two NeuroLF® dedicated brain PET systems. With installation scheduled for December, BHMI will become the first outpatient imaging center in California to adopt this cutting-edge neuroimaging technology.
This milestone reflects a continued legacy of innovation under the leadership of Dr. Puneet Chandak, who pioneered PET-CT technology in the Bay Area 18 years ago. A board-certified nuclear medicine specialist, Dr. Chandak is once again leading the charge—placing BHMI at the forefront of advanced brain diagnostics and collaborating with leading neurologists to bring greater clarity to the diagnosis of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
“We’re proud to lead the way in bringing NeuroLF to California. This technology aligns with our mission to provide our patients and referring physicians with the most advanced imaging tools available. NeuroLF’s ability to deliver accurate, same-day brain imaging in an outpatient setting is a game-changer for early diagnosis and treatment planning.”

The NeuroLF system is an ultra-compact dedicated brain PET scanner with applications in the diagnosis of dementia-related diseases such as Alzheimer’s and other neurological disorders. The device enables point-of-care imaging thanks to its limited space requirements, intuitive usability, and enhanced patient comfort.
“We are excited that Beverly Hills Medical Imaging decided to purchase not only one but two NeuroLF systems to support their high-end diagnostic imaging services. It shows their commitment to innovation and patient-centered care,” states Dr. Jannis Fischer, Co-Founder and CEO of Positrigo.
