Ribbon-cutting event in San Marcos, CA marks launch of new brain PET imaging program

Positrigo, a Swiss-based company developing nuclear medical devices to advance functional brain imaging, today announced that The Neuron Clinic in San Marcos, California, has become the first neurology practice in the United States to purchase and use the NeuroLF system for point-of-care brain PET imaging. The milestone was celebrated with a ribbon-cutting event on October 24, 2025, marking the official start of the clinic’s new brain PET imaging program.

NeuroLF is Positrigo’s ultra-compact, dedicated brain PET scanner designed to bring advanced molecular imaging directly to the point-of-care. The system enables clinicians to visualize and quantify brain function with unprecedented accessibility—helping to support earlier diagnosis and improved management of neurological conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

The Neuron Clinic’s adoption of the NeuroLF system reflects a growing trend among neurology practices seeking to integrate advanced imaging into their diagnostic workflows without the logistical and financial challenges of traditional PET imaging infrastructure.
