Positrigo Expands U.S. Presence with New NeuroLF at Espinosa Neuroscience Institute in Florida

Positrigo, a Swiss based company developing nuclear medical devices to advance functional brain imaging, today announced another U.S. deployment and partnership supporting the growing adoption of NeuroLF across independent neurology practices. The collaboration reflects continued momentum around expanding patient access to advanced neuroimaging and supporting the evolving care pathway for Alzheimer’s disease and related neurological conditions.

The system will be installed at Espinosa Neuroscience Institute in Florida, where it will serve as the foundation of a new Brain PET imaging program focused on the growing population of patients affected by Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders.

Brain PET imaging will help accelerate earlier diagnosis and shorten time to treatment for patients eligible for current and emerging amyloid and other disease modifying therapies,” said Dr. Patricio Espinosa, Founder of Espinosa Neuroscience Institute. “As neurology moves toward a more biomarker-driven future, technologies like NeuroLF create an opportunity to longitudinally monitor disease progression and treatment response with greater precision.”

As part of the BrainPET Accelerator initiative, Positrigo provides a flexible operational framework designed to simplify the launch and long-term management of dedicated Brain PET programs. The initiative supports independent practices by operationalizing key compliance, staffing, and revenue cycle components required to establish and scale advanced neuroimaging services within neurology-focused care settings.

“We are thrilled to partner with Espinosa Neuroscience Institute and build upon Dr. Espinosa’s longstanding commitment to clinical excellence in Alzheimer’s disease and broader dementia care,” said Dr. Jannis Fischer, CEO and Co-Founder at Positrigo. “This collaboration further demonstrates how dedicated Brain PET imaging can be implemented efficiently and practically within outpatient neurology practices, helping expand access to advanced Alzheimer’s diagnostics closer to patients.”

The NeuroLF system is designed specifically for dedicated Brain PET imaging and offers a compact footprint, lower radiation dose, and workflow efficiencies tailored to neurological applications. As demand for amyloid and tau imaging continues to grow alongside new Alzheimer’s therapies, Positrigo’s scalable BrainPET Accelerator Program allows healthcare providers to introduce Brain PET imaging without the complexity traditionally associated with PET operations.

“This program will set a new bar for excellence in Alzheimer’s and dementia care across South Florida by optimizing the patient experience and more closely integrating diagnostics, treatment, and longitudinal surveillance under one roof,” said Dr. Espinosa. “As new therapies continue to emerge, this model will help accelerate earlier diagnosis and maximize long-term patient outcomes.”

The installation further strengthens Positrigo’s expanding footprint in the United States and reflects increasing demand for accessible Brain PET imaging solutions in neurology-focused care settings.
