Positrigo’s NeuroLF® Accepted for Alzheimer’s Disease Clinical Research
The acceptance of NeuroLF for clinical trials marks another important milestone for Positrigo, reinforcing the system’s growing role in advancing the broader adoption of routine Alzheimer’s disease diagnosis.
Positrigo, a Swiss based company developing nuclear medical devices to advance functional brain imaging, today announced that its NeuroLF brain PET system has been accepted for use in an Alzheimer’s disease clinical trial at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU Munich), with additional studies expected to consider the system in the future. This milestone represents growing recognition of dedicated brain PET imaging as an important tool for advancing Alzheimer’s disease research while supporting broader clinical adoption.
The acceptance by a clinical trial sponsor enables NeuroLF to support a Phase 2 study in adults with early-stage Down syndrome-associated Alzheimer’s disease, further expanding the role of dedicated brain PET imaging in clinical research.

The increasing use of NeuroLF in clinical research is expected to generate valuable evidence supporting dedicated brain PET imaging in Alzheimer’s disease and other neurodegenerative disorders. As disease-modifying therapies continue to emerge, accurate molecular imaging is becoming increasingly important for identifying appropriate patients and monitoring treatment response in both clinical trials and routine care.
